Nathan Hinckley is an entrepreneur based in East Tennessee. Born in Layton, Utah, he grew up in the Knoxville area after his parents relocated south to pursue their careers as a country music duo. Inheriting their love for music, Nathan continues to perform regularly in the Knoxville music scene.
Nathan has held numerous leadership roles in the LDS Church, serving as a missionary, bishop, and member of the Stake High Council. However, after deep personal reflection, he and his family made the decision to leave the church, concluding that “the church was not what it claimed it was.”
He is the creator and host of the YouTube channel The Bishop’s Interview and has been featured on prominent platforms such as Mormon Stories and Mormonism Live. Nathan’s conversations are a mix of thoughtful insight, sharp wit, and laugh-out-loud moments, making even heavy topics feel approachable. He is known for his passionate storytelling and quick humor, and he brings a refreshing balance of sincerity and entertainment to the ex-Mormon space.
Above all, Nathan and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of four wonderful children whom they consider their greatest accomplishment.
Lauren Matthias is the host of the popular Hidden True Crime podcast and YouTube channel.
Before launching her independent platform, Lauren spent a decade as an award-winning broadcast journalist in Idaho and Utah—including Southern Utah—where she covered everything from high-profile crimes to presidential visits.
Driven by a passion to dig deeper into the cases that mattered most, Lauren took the risk of leaving traditional news to report independently. That decision led her to investigate some of the most shocking cases tied to her own LDS faith community, including Lori and Chad Daybell, as well as Jodi Hildebrandt and Ruby Franke. Covering these crimes opened new questions for Lauren about belief, betrayal, and the dangers of unchecked power in religious settings.
Today, Lauren is a frequent guest on NewsNation and Court TV and has been featured on Dateline NBC, 20/20, and numerous crime documentaries. She is also the author of Escaping Emotional Abuse, where she explores resilience and recovery in the face of manipulation and harm.

In 2008, he and his wife JaLynn founded Madison House Autism Foundation (www.madisonhouseautism.org), named after their adult autistic son, to address the lifespan issues facing autistic adults, their families and other caregivers.
He is on the dean’s council of the University of Utah School of Dentistry and is a governor of Wesley Theological Seminary in DC.
